The Swansea Tigers softball team scored 21 runs and limited the visiting Orangeburg-Wilkinson Bruins to 0 in the Tigers league triumph on Tuesday.
With the triumph, Swansea improves its record to 15-4 on the year. The Tigers travel to Orangeburg-Wilkinson (Orangeburg, SC) to clash with the Bruins in a AAA Region 5 game on Friday, April 19. The Bruins come into the game with a record of 1-6.
In their next game, the Bruins clash with the Dreher Blue Devils (Columbia, SC) in a AAA Region 5 game, on Thursday, April 18. Orangeburg-Wilkinson will attempt to improve on its 1-6 season record. The Blue Devils enter the test with a 5-13 record after their 13-3 non-league loss to Spring Valley (Columbia, SC).
