St. Brendan Sabres (Miami, FL) fans exited the stadium thrilled Tuesday as they saw their softball squad nip the host Palmer Trinity Falcons (Miami, FL), 7-3 in a non-league challenge.
The Sabres now sport a 9-8 record. They take the field next when they travel to Doral Academy for a non-league challenge on Wednesday, April 17. St. Brendan will face a Firebirds squad coming off a 12-2 non-league win over West Broward (Pembroke Pines, FL). The Firebirds record now stands at 18-1.
With the loss, Palmer Trinity falls to 9-7 on the campaign. The Falcons host Somerset Academy (Silver Palms) (Miami, FL) to face the Stallions in a non-league challenge on Thursday, April 18. The Stallions enter the challenge with a record of 13-5. Somerset Academy (Silver Palms) won 11-7 in their recent league challenge against Keys Gate (Homestead, FL)
