The Ballston Spa Scotties baseball team scored 6 runs and held the visiting Averill Park Warriors to 5 in the Scotties league win on Wednesday.

The Scotties now hold a 5-0 record. They take the field next when they host Burnt Hills-Ballston Lake for a Section 2 Suburban - Blue test on Thursday, April 17. Ballston Spa will play a Spartans team coming off a 14-6 league loss to Columbia (East Greenbush, NY). The Spartans record now stands at 1-5.

With the defeat, Averill Park drops to 2-4 on the year. The Warriors travel to Greenwich (Greenwich, NY) to play the Witches in a non-league test on Thursday, April 17. The Witches go into the test with a record of 4-3. Greenwich won 3-0 in their recent non-league test against Taconic Hills (Craryville, NY)
