The Gilbert Classical Academy Spartans (Gilbert, AZ) baseball trounced the visiting Superior Panthers (Superior, AZ), 8-0 in Wednesday's non-league challenge.
The Spartans now own a 6-9 record. They take the field next when they travel to Glendale Prep Academy for a non-league challenge on Wednesday, April 23.
With the defeat, Superior drops to 8-10 on the year. The Panthers host San Manuel (San Manuel, AZ) to clash with the Miners in a 1A East challenge on Tuesday, April 22. The Miners go into the challenge with a record of 12-8.
