In Wednesday's non-league game, the host Lewis Mills Spartans baseball team scored a close 12-9 victory over the Glastonbury Guardians.
The Spartans (1-4) will now prepare for their game against Stamford (Stamford, CT). The Black Knights enter the non-league game with a 5-3 record. In their last game, Stamford by McMahon (Norwalk, CT), 4-0, in a league game.
Next, the Guardians face the Berlin Redcoats (Berlin, CT) in a non-league game, on Monday, April 21. Glastonbury will attempt to improve on its 2-4 season record. The Redcoats enter the game with a 5-0 record after their 12-2 non-league win over Immaculate (Danbury, CT).
