The Globe Tigers (Globe, AZ) baseball trounced the visiting Palo Verde Titans (Tucson, AZ), 12-2 in Wednesday's non-league challenge.
The Tigers now own a 9-10 record. They take the field next when they travel to Florence for a 3A Central challenge on Friday, April 18. Globe will clash with a Gophers team coming off a 14-3 league win over Apache Junction (Apache Junction, AZ). The Gophers record now stands at 13-6.
With the defeat, Palo Verde drops to 6-9 on the year. The Titans travel to Tanque Verde (Tucson, AZ) to clash with the Hawks in a 3A South challenge on Wednesday, April 23. The Hawks go into the challenge with a record of 15-4.
