The Mount Vernon Majors (Alexandria, VA) baseball trounced the host Hylton Bulldogs (Woodbridge, VA), 18-5 in Wednesday's non-league challenge.
The Majors now own a 9-4 record. They take the field next when they travel to Annandale for a National challenge on Tuesday, April 22. Mount Vernon will clash with a Atoms team coming off a 16-1 non-league loss to Meridian (Falls Church, VA). The Atoms record now stands at 3-8.
With the defeat, Hylton drops to 4-5 on the year. The Bulldogs travel to Charles J. Colgan (Manassas, VA) to clash with the Sharks in a Cardinal challenge on Tuesday, April 22. The Sharks go into the challenge with a record of 7-3. Charles J. Colgan lost 7-4 in their recent non-league challenge against Langley (McLean, VA)
