South Carolina High School Baseball - James Island wallops Stone Bridge

In Wednesday's non-league game, the host James Island Trojans baseball team scored a nice 14-4 victory over the Stone Bridge Bulldogs.

The Trojans (17-3) will now prepare for their game against Ashley Ridge (Summerville, SC). The Swamp Foxes enter the 5A Region 8 game with a 7-10 record. In their last game, Ashley Ridge defeated Washington-Liberty (Arlington, VA), 4-2, in a non-league game.

Next, the Bulldogs face the Lightridge Bolts (Aldie, VA) in a Potomac game, on Tuesday, April 22. Stone Bridge will attempt to improve on its 7-4 season record. The Bolts enter the game with a 1-1 record after their 11-1 non-league loss to John Champe (Aldie, VA).
