Virginia High School Baseball - Stratford loses to James Madison

The Stratford Knights baseball squad (Goose Creek, SC), was overwhelmed 9-5 in Wednesday's non-league contest with the host James Madison Warhawks (Vienna, VA)

With the triumph, James Madison moves its record to 11-1 on the season. The Warhawks host West Springfield (Springfield, VA) to confront the Spartans in a non-league contest on Thursday, April 17. The Spartans come into the contest with a record of 9-0. West Springfield won 7-1 in their recent non-league contest against Atlantic Shores Christian (Chesapeake, VA)

The Knights now possess a 14-3 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Berkeley for a 5A Region 6 contest on Monday, April 21. Stratford will confront a Stags squad coming off a 8-3 non-league win over Great Bridge (Chesapeake, VA). The Stags record now stands at 11-8.
