The Ponderosa Bruins (Shingle Springs, CA) baseball got by the visiting Laguna Creek Cardinals (Elk Grove, CA), 5-4 in Wednesday's non-league challenge.

The Bruins now own a 8-16 record. They take the field next when they host Inderkum for a Capital Valley Conference challenge on Tuesday, April 22. Ponderosa will clash with a Tigers team coming off a 12-2 non-league loss to Ponderosa (Shingle Springs, CA). The Tigers record now stands at 10-13.

With the defeat, Laguna Creek drops to 10-10 on the year. The Cardinals host Sheldon (Sacramento, CA) to clash with the Huskies in a Delta League challenge on Tuesday, April 22.
