The Monroe-Woodbury Crusaders baseball team scored 16 runs and held the host Marlboro Central Dukes to 8 in the Crusaders non-league win on Wednesday.

The Crusaders now hold a 6-1 record. They take the field next when they host O'Neill for a non-league test on Tuesday, April 22. Monroe-Woodbury will play a Raiders team coming off a 12-1 non-league loss to Port Jervis (Port Jervis, NY). The Raiders record now stands at 1-1.

With the defeat, Marlboro Central drops to 1-3 on the year. The Dukes host Spackenkill (Poughkeepsie, NY) to play the Spartans in a Section 9 Mid Hudson I test on Monday, April 21. The Spartans go into the test with a record of 2-2. Spackenkill won 6-4 in their recent league test against New Paltz (New Paltz, NY)
