In Wednesday's non-league game, the visiting Northern Patriots baseball team scored a close 12-5 win over the Marriotts Ridge .
The Patriots (10-4) will now prepare for their game against Huntingtown (Huntingtown, MD). The Hurricanes go into the Southern Maryland game with a 9-2 record. In their last game, Huntingtown nudged St. Mary's Ryken Green (Leonardtown, MD), 8-5, in a non-league game.
Next, the play the Atholton Raiders (Columbia, MD) in a game, on Tuesday, April 22. Marriotts Ridge will attempt to improve on its 3-4 season record. The Raiders go into the game with a 4-6 record after their 9-1 non-league loss to Towson (Towson, MD).
