The Randleman Tigers (Randleman, NC) baseball got by the host New Hanover Wildcats (Wilmington, NC), 4-3 in Wednesday's non-league challenge.

The Tigers now own a 13-4 record. They take the field next when they travel to Trinity for a Piedmont Athletic 1A/2A challenge on Tuesday, April 22. Randleman will clash with a Bulldogs team coming off a 14-1 non-league loss to Burns (Lawndale, NC). The Bulldogs record now stands at 14-5.

With the defeat, New Hanover drops to 12-7 on the year. The Wildcats host Ashley (Wilmington, NC) to clash with the Screaming Eagle in a Mideastern 3A/4A challenge on Tuesday, April 22. The Screaming Eagle go into the challenge with a record of 16-4. Ashley lost 6-4 in their recent non-league challenge against Grimsley (Greensboro, NC)
