Illinois High School Baseball - Pittsfield held off by Quincy Notre Dame

In Wednesday's non-league bout, the Quincy Notre Dame Raiders (Quincy, IL) baseball squad the host Pittsfield Saukees (Pittsfield, IL), by a tally of 12-10.

Next up, the Raiders encounter the Rochester Rockets (Rochester, IL) in a non-league bout, on Saturday, April 19. Quincy Notre Dame will attempt to upgrade on its 8-4 season record. The Rockets enter the bout with a 11-2 record after their 5-3 non-league win over Belleville East (Belleville, IL).

The Saukees (12-3) will now prepare for their bout against Quincy (Quincy, IL). The Blue Devils enter the non-league bout with a 5-10 record. In their last bout, Quincy edged Rock Island (Rock Island, IL), 5-4, in a league bout.
