The Southeast Guilford Falcons baseball team scored 15 runs and held the host Providence Grove Patriots to 0 in the Falcons non-league win on Wednesday.
The Falcons now own a 8-12 record. They take the field next when they travel to Page for a Metro 4A test on Tuesday, April 22. Southeast Guilford will clash with a Pirates team coming off a 8-0 league loss to Grimsley (Greensboro, NC). The Pirates record now stands at 6-14.
With the defeat, Providence Grove drops to 8-9 on the year. The Patriots host Eastern Randolph (Ramseur, NC) to clash with the Wildcats in a Piedmont Athletic 1A/2A test on Tuesday, April 22. The Wildcats go into the test with a record of 9-9. Eastern Randolph lost 5-0 in their recent non-league test against Asheboro (Asheboro, NC)
