The Smithsburg Leopards baseball team scored 12 runs and held the host Walkersville Lions to 2 in the Leopards league win on Wednesday.
The Leopards now own a 7-1 record. They take the field next when they host North Hagerstown for a CMC test on Saturday, April 19. Smithsburg will play a Hubs team coming off a 13-2 non-league loss to Urbana (Ijamsville, MD). The Hubs record now stands at 7-1.
With the defeat, Walkersville drops to 0-2 on the year. The Lions travel to Brunswick (Brunswick, MD) to play the Railroaders in a CMC test on Tuesday, April 22. The Railroaders go into the test with a record of 5-1. Brunswick won 8-3 in their recent non-league test against Grace Academy (Hagerstown, MD)
