Pacific Ridge Firebirds (Carlsbad, CA) boosters left the game thrilled Wednesday as they saw their volleyball team top the visiting Madison Warhawks (San Diego, CA), 2-0 in a non-league contest.

The Firebirds (2-7) will now prepare for their contest against Helix (La Mesa, CA). The Highlanders enter the non-league contest with a 4-5 record.

Next, the Warhawks battle the Kearny Komets (San Diego, CA) in a contest, on Friday, April 18. Madison will attempt to move on its 6-9 season record. The Komets enter the contest with a 0-6 record after their 2-0 league loss to San Diego (San Diego, CA).
