The Oakland Wildcats volleyball team scored 3 points and restricted the host Alameda Hornets to 1 in the Wildcats non-league triumph on Wednesday.

The Wildcats now have a 17-6 record. They play next when they travel to Oakland Tech for a Oakland Athletic outing on Friday, April 18. Oakland will play a Bulldogs team coming off a 3-0 league win over Madison Park Academy (Oakland, CA). The Bulldogs record now stands at 12-10.

With the loss, Alameda drops to 10-10 on the campaign. The Hornets travel to Berkeley (Berkeley, CA) to play the Yellowjackets in a West Alameda County - Foothill outing on Friday, April 18. The Yellowjackets come into the outing with a record of 5-11. Berkeley lost 3-0 in their recent league outing against Castro Valley (Castro Valley, CA)
