The Preston Knights lacrosse team (Kingwood, WV), was overwhelmed 16-6 in Wednesday's league battle with the host John Marshall Monarchs (Glen Dale, WV)

With the victory, John Marshall advances its record to 5-2 on the season. The Monarchs travel to University (Morgantown, WV) to encounter the Hawks in a non-league battle on Friday, April 18. The Hawks come into the battle with a record of 10-0. University won 13-4 in their recent non-league battle against Morgantown (Morgantown, WV)

The Knights now sport a 0-9 record. They put it on the line next when they host Fairmont Senior for a non-league battle on Monday, April 21. Preston will encounter a Polar Bears team coming off a 12-1 non-league loss to Buckhannon-Upshur (Buckhannon, WV). The Polar Bears record now stands at 1-9.
