Lincoln-Way Central Knights (New Lenox, IL) backers exited the stadium satisfied Wednesday as they saw their lacrosse team gain a win over the visiting St. Charles East/North Fighting Saints (St. Charles, IL), 16-13 in a non-league game.

With the victory, Lincoln-Way Central improves its record to 2-3 on the season. The Knights travel to Normal Community (Normal, IL) to play the Ironmen in a Southwestern game on Saturday, April 19. The Ironmen come into the game with a record of 0-3. Normal Community lost 19-8 in their recent league game against Lockport (Lockport, IL)

The Fighting Saints now have a 3-3 record. They put it on the line next when they host Lyons for a non-league game on Saturday, April 19. St. Charles East/North will play a Lions team coming off a 10-5 non-league win over Mother McAuley (Chicago, IL). The Lions record now stands at 7-1.
