In Wednesday's non-league challenge, the Oak Grove Grizzlies (Winston-Salem, NC) soccer squad nipped the visiting Bishop McGuinness Villains (Kernersville, NC), by a margin of 4-3.
The Grizzlies now hold a 9-6 record. They play next when they host North Davidson for a Mid-Piedmont 3A challenge on Monday, April 28. Oak Grove will encounter a Black Knights squad coming off a 9-1 league win over Montgomery Central (Troy, NC). The Black Knights record now stands at 11-3.
The Villains (13-3) will now prepare for their contest against Piedmont Classical (Browns Summit, NC). The Bobcats enter the Northwest Piedmont 1A contest with a 2-4 record.
