In Wednesday's non-league outing, the host Elgin Maroons soccer squad scored a tight 7-2 win over the Lake Park Lancers.
The Maroons (11-0) will now prepare for their outing against Streamwood (Streamwood, IL). The Sabres enter the Upstate Eight West outing with a 7-4 record. In their last outing, Streamwood tipped Regina Dominican (Wilmette, IL), 3-1, in a non-league outing.
Next up, the Lancers confront the St. Charles East Fighting Saints (St. Charles, IL) in a DuKane outing, on Tuesday, April 22. Lake Park will attempt to improve on its 3-7 season record. The Fighting Saints enter the outing with a 13-1 record after their 9-0 non-league win over Guilford (Rockford, IL).
