The Hammond Skyhawks (Columbia, SC) soccer the visiting Gray Collegiate Academy War Eagles (West Columbia, SC), 3-0 in Wednesday's non-league challenge.
The Skyhawks now hold a 6-5 record. They play next when they host Ben Lippen for a SCISA AAA Region I challenge on Thursday, April 24. Hammond will encounter a Falcons squad coming off a 1-0 league win over Cardinal Newman (Columbia, SC). The Falcons record now stands at 10-2.
With the loss, Gray Collegiate Academy moves to 17-2 on the year. The War eagles host Gilbert (Gilbert, SC) to encounter the Indians in a AAAA Region 4 challenge on Tuesday, April 22. The Indians go into the challenge with a record of 10-2. Gilbert won 2-1 in their recent league challenge against Brookland-Cayce (Cayce, SC)
