In Wednesday's non-league contest, the West Brunswick Trojans (Shallotte, NC) soccer team routed the visiting West Bladen Knights (Bladenboro, NC), by a count of 6-0.
Next, the Trojans battle the Topsail Pirates (Hampstead, NC) in a Mideastern 3A/4A contest, on Thursday, April 17. West Brunswick will attempt to upgrade on its 5-9 season record. The Pirates enter the contest with a 7-5 record after their 7-0 league win over South Brunswick (Southport, NC).
The Knights (2-14) will now prepare for their contest against South Brunswick (Southport, NC). The Cougars enter the non-league contest with a 4-9 record. In their last contest, South Brunswick held off North Brunswick (Leland, NC), 3-0, in a league contest.
