With the defeat, Union Academy drops to 2-8 on the year. The Cardinals host South Stanly (Norwood, NC) to clash with the Rowdy Rebel Bulls in a non-league test on Thursday, April 17. The Rowdy Rebel Bulls go into the test with a record of 2-11. South Stanly lost 11-1 in their recent non-league match against Union Academy (Monroe, NC)
