The Elk Grove Thundering Herd baseball squad (Elk Grove, CA), was overwhelmed 11-2 in Wednesday's non-league contest with the host Whitney Wildcats (Rocklin, CA)

With the triumph, Whitney moves its record to 14-7 on the season. The Wildcats host Jesuit (Carmichael, CA) to confront the Marauders in a contest on Tuesday, April 22. The Marauders come into the contest with a record of 14-5. Jesuit won 10-0 in their recent non-league contest against Valley Christian (San Jose, CA)

The Thundering Herd now possess a 11-9 record. They put it on the line next when they host Cosumnes Oaks for a contest on Tuesday, April 22. Elk Grove will confront a Wolfpack squad coming off a 16-5 league loss to Laguna Creek (Elk Grove, CA). The Wolfpack record now stands at 5-9.
