In Wednesday's non-league bout, the Pleasant Valley Vikings (Chico, CA) baseball squad overwhelmed the visiting Las Plumas Thunderbirds (Oroville, CA), by a tally of 14-3.
Next up, the Vikings encounter the Lincoln Fighting Zebras (Lincoln, CA) in a non-league bout, on Thursday, April 17. Pleasant Valley will attempt to upgrade on its 17-1 season record. The Fighting Zebras enter the bout with a 11-5 record after their 6-4 non-league win over Casa Roble (Orangevale, CA).
The Thunderbirds (8-8) will now prepare for their bout against Orland (Orland, CA). The Trojans enter the bout with a 7-5 record. In their last bout, Orland was overwhelmed by Las Plumas (Oroville, CA), 9-5, in a league bout.
