With the victory, Newport Harbor improves its record to 6-8 on the season. The Sailors host Los Alamitos (Los Alamitos, CA) to play the Griffins in a Sunset game on Monday, April 21. The Griffins come into the game with a record of 14-3. Los Alamitos lost 10-4 in their recent league game against Corona del Mar (Newport Beach, CA)

The Stallions now have a 7-8 record. They put it on the line next when they host Capistrano Valley for a game on Friday, April 18. San Juan Hills will play a Cougars team coming off a 17-9 league loss to Dana Hills (Dana Point, CA). The Cougars record now stands at 3-12.
