New York High School Lacrosse - Shoreham-Wading River drops to Springfield

The Springfield Cougars triumphed over the host Shoreham-Wading River Wildcats lacrosse team by a tally of 18-5 in Wednesday's non-league match.
Next up, the Cougars confront the Northport Tigers (Northport, NY) in a non-league match, on Thursday, April 17. Springfield will attempt to improve on its 10-1 season record.
The Wildcats (0-2) will now prepare for their match against Hauppauge (Hauppauge, NY). The Eagles enter the non-league match with a 0-1 record.
Game Summary
Springfield traveled to New York for a fun few days of Lacrosse over the schools Spring Break. Springfield continued to dominate even in another State. The Cougars got off to a 5-0 lead before Shoreham scored 3 late in the 1st. Springfield added 6 more in the 2nd lead by Senior Patrick Flaherty with 3 of is own. Senior Jackson Kennedy bounced back after the tough end to the 1st Quarter, and did not allow another goal the rest of his time in the cage. Springfield would like to thank Shoreham-Wading River High School for hosting a fun day in New York!
