The crowd at Wednesday's league bout between the Tri-Village Patriots (New Madison, OH) and the visiting Arcanum Trojans (Arcanum, OH), observed Tri-Village's softball team get by Arcanum by a tally of 5-4.

The Patriots (11-0) will now prepare for their bout against Ansonia (Ansonia, OH). The Tigers go into the Western Ohio Athletic bout with a 6-4 record. In their last bout, Ansonia tipped Troy Christian (Troy, OH), 13-1, in a non-league bout.

In their next game, the Trojans clash with the Mississinawa Valley Blackhawks (Union City, OH) in a Western Ohio Athletic bout, on Thursday, April 17. Arcanum will attempt to advance on its 9-6 season record. The Blackhawks go into the bout with a 5-5 record after their 9-3 league loss to Newton Local (Pleasant Hill, OH).
