In Wednesday's non-league test, the Armstrong Trojans (Armstrong, IL) softball squad overwhelmed the host Donovan Wildcats (Donovan, IL), by a tally of 8-0.

Next, the Trojans clash with the Chrisman Cardinals (Chrisman, IL) in a Vermilion Valley test, on Friday, April 18. Armstrong will attempt to advance on its 6-7 season record. The Cardinals go into the test with a 2-3 record after their 15-2 league loss to Iroquois West (Gilman, IL).

The Wildcats (2-8) will now prepare for their test against St. Anne (St. Anne, IL). The Cardinals go into the River Valley test with a 1-6 record. In their last test, St. Anne was routed by Gardner-South Wilmington (Gardner, IL), 18-3, in a league test.
