The Barrington Fillies/Broncos softball team scored 15 runs and held the visiting Elk Grove Grenadiers to 0 in the Fillies/Broncos league win on Wednesday.

The Fillies/Broncos now possess a 11-1 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Rolling Meadows for a Mid-Suburban East battle on Thursday, April 17. Barrington will confront a Mustangs team coming off a 12-10 league loss to Schaumburg (Schaumburg, IL). The Mustangs record now stands at 3-7.

With the loss, Elk Grove moves to 4-2 on the season. The Grenadiers travel to Lyons (LaGrange, IL) to confront the Lions in a non-league battle on Saturday, April 19. The Lions come into the battle with a record of 4-6. Lyons lost 12-1 in their recent non-league battle against Nazareth Academy (LaGrange Park, IL)
