Illinois High School Softball - Calhoun bounces Mulberry Grove

In Wednesday's non-league match, the visiting Calhoun Warriors softball team scored a tight 10-3 victory over the Mulberry Grove Aces.
The Warriors (12-3) will now prepare for their match against Pleasant Hill (Pleasant Hill, IL). The Wolves go into the Western Illinois Valley - South match with a 5-2 record. In their last match, Pleasant Hill was routed by Carrollton (Carrollton, IL), 8-4, in a league match.
In their next game, the Aces battle the Martinsville Bluestreaks (Martinsville, IL) in a Egyptian Illini match, on Saturday, April 19. Mulberry Grove will attempt to better on its 6-4 season record. The Bluestreaks go into the match with a 5-4 record after their 10-6 non-league win over Dugger Union (Dugger, IN).
