In Wednesday's league match, the host Indian Lake Lakers softball team scored a tight 6-3 win over the North Union Wildcats.
The Lakers (6-5) will now prepare for their match against London (London, OH). The Red Raiders come into the non-league match with a 11-2 record. In their last match, London nipped Tecumseh (New Carlisle, OH), 12-4, in a league match.
In their next game, the Wildcats confront the Urbana Hillclimbers (Urbana, OH) in a Central Buckeye - Kenton Trail match, on Friday, April 18. North Union will attempt to better on its 6-8 season record. The Hillclimbers come into the match with a 1-12 record after their 12-0 league loss to Jonathan Alder (Plain City, OH).
