In Wednesday's non-league test, the Milledgeville Missiles (Milledgeville, IL) softball squad overwhelmed the visiting River Ridge/Scales Mound Wildcats (Hanover, IL), by a tally of 16-1.
Next, the Missiles clash with the Polo Marcos (Polo, IL) in a NUIC South test, on Thursday, April 17. Milledgeville will attempt to advance on its 9-5 season record. The Marcos go into the test with a 0-10 record after their 10-0 non-league loss to Orangeville (Orangeville, IL).
The Wildcats (7-9) will now prepare for their test against East Dubuque (East Dubuque, IL). The Warriors go into the NUIC West test with a 5-6 record. In their last test, East Dubuque prevailed over River Ridge/Scales Mound (Hanover, IL), 4-1, in a league test.
