Pennsylvania High School Baseball - Pine-Richland loses to Butler

April 16, 2026: Gibsonia, PA

The Pine-Richland Rams baseball squad (Gibsonia, PA), was overwhelmed 6-1 in Thursday's non-league contest with the visiting Butler Golden Tornado (Butler, PA)

With the triumph, Butler moves its record to 11-3 on the season. The Golden Tornado host Central Catholic (Pittsburgh, PA) to confront the Vikings in a WPIAL 6A 1 contest on Monday, April 20. The Vikings come into the contest with a record of 6-7. Central Catholic lost 11-0 in their recent league contest against North Allegheny (Wexford, PA)

The Rams now possess a 9-4 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Shaler Area for a WPIAL 5A 3 contest on Monday, April 20. Pine-Richland will confront a Titans squad coming off a 5-3 non-league loss to Baldwin (Pittsburgh, PA). The Titans record now stands at 3-10.
