The crowd at Thursday's non-league battle between the Cushing Tigers (Cushing, OK) and the visiting Sperry Pirates (Sperry, OK), saw Cushing's baseball team get by Sperry by a tally of 5-4.
The Tigers (9-7) will now prepare for their battle against Kiefer (Kiefer, OK). The Trojans enter the non-league battle with a 16-6 record. In their last battle, Kiefer was tipped by Holland Hall (Tulsa, OK), 4-2, in a league battle.
Next, the Pirates face the Mannford Pirates (Mannford, OK) in a non-league battle, on Friday, April 17. Sperry will attempt to upgrade on its 10-15 season record. The Pirates enter the battle with a 6-16 record after their 10-6 non-league loss to Fort Gibson (Fort Gibson, OK).
