In Thursday's non-league game, the visiting Winchester Red & Black baseball team scored a close 15-8 victory over the Melrose Red Raiders.

The Red & Black (7-0) will now prepare for their game against Lexington (Lexington, MA). The Minutemen enter the Middlesex - Liberty game with a 3-1 record.

Next, the Red Raiders face the Newton South Lions (Newton, MA) in a non-league game, on Friday, April 17. Melrose will attempt to improve on its 2-2 season record. The Lions enter the game with a 2-2 record after their 7-0 league win over Acton-Boxborough (Acton, MA).
