In Thursday's league game, the host Polytech Panthers baseball team scored a close 10-9 victory over the Milford Buccaneers.
The Panthers (2-5) will now prepare for their game against Laurel (Laurel, DE). The Bulldogs enter the non-league game with a 3-7 record. In their last game, Laurel was tipped by Delmar (Delmar, DE), 14-2, in a league game.
Next, the Buccaneers face the Tower Hill Hillers (Wilmington, DE) in a non-league game, on Saturday, April 18. Milford will attempt to improve on its 1-4 season record. The Hillers enter the game with a 6-2 record after their 8-5 non-league loss to Salesianum (Wilmington, DE).
