The crowd at Thursday's league bout between the Abington Galloping Ghosts (Abington, PA) and the visiting Lower Moreland Lions (Huntingdon Valley, PA), observed Abington's softball team get by Lower Moreland by a tally of 4-2.

The Galloping Ghosts (2-4) will now prepare for their bout against Central Bucks East (Doylestown, PA). The Patriots go into the non-league bout with a 7-6 record. In their last bout, Central Bucks East tipped Harry S. Truman (Levittown, PA), 4-2, in a non-league bout.

In their next game, the Lions clash with the Gwynedd Mercy Academy Monarchs (Gwynedd Valley, PA) in a non-league bout, on Friday, April 17. Lower Moreland will attempt to advance on its 4-4 season record. The Monarchs go into the bout with a 0-8 record after their 11-1 non-league loss to Interboro (Prospect Park, PA).
