In Thursday's non-league match, the visiting Newark Tech Terries softball team scored a nice 18-8 win over the Dover Tigers.
The Terries (3-3) will now prepare for their match against Irvington (Irvington, NJ). The Blue Knights come into the SEC - Independence match with a 1-4 record. In their last match, Irvington was routed by St. Vincent Academy (Newark, NJ), 20-5, in a league match.
In their next game, the Tigers battle the Garfield Boilermakers (Garfield, NJ) in a non-league match, on Friday, April 17. Dover will attempt to better on its 0-6 season record.
