The crowd at Thursday's league bout between the La Plata Warriors (La Plata, MD) and the host Thomas Stone Cougars (Waldorf, MD), observed La Plata's softball team prevail over Thomas Stone by a tally of 16-1.

The Warriors (5-6) will now prepare for their bout against Leonardtown (Leonardtown, MD). The Raiders go into the Southern Maryland bout with a 12-2 record. In their last bout, Leonardtown knocked off Northern (Owings, MD), 9-8, in a league bout.

In their next game, the Cougars clash with the Patuxent Panthers (Lusby, MD) in a Southern Maryland bout, on Monday, April 20. Thomas Stone will attempt to advance on its 5-6 season record. The Panthers go into the bout with a 4-5 record after their 10-6 league loss to Great Mills (Great Mills, MD).
