The crowd at Thursday's non-league bout between the Zeeland West Dux (Zeeland, MI) and the host Rockford Rams (Rockford, MI), observed Zeeland West's softball team get by Rockford by a tally of 12-11.

The Dux (7-1) will now prepare for their bout against Hudsonville (Hudsonville, MI). The Eagles go into the non-league bout with a 3-0 record. In their last bout, Hudsonville tipped Grandville (Grandville, MI), 12-0, in a league bout.

In their next game, the Rams battle the Central Montcalm Hornets (Stanton, MI) in a non-league bout, on Saturday, April 18. Rockford will attempt to advance on its 1-2 season record.
