In Monday's non-league game, the visiting Alcorn Central Bears baseball team scored a tight 7-6 victory over the Ripley Tigers.
The Bears (13-12) will now prepare for their game against Hickory Flat (Hickory Flat, MS). The Rebels go into the non-league game with a 9-13 record. In their last game, Hickory Flat tipped Baldwyn (Baldwyn, MS), 10-8, in a non-league game.
