The Freeman Mavericks the host Hanover Hawks baseball team by a count of 5-2 in Monday's non-league bout.

The Mavericks now possess a 8-2 record. They take the field next when they host John Marshall for a Colonial bout on Tuesday, April 18. Freeman will face a Justices team coming off a 11-1 league loss to Maggie Walker (Richmond, VA). The Justices record now stands at 6-3.
