The Freeman Mavericks the host Hanover Hawks baseball team by a count of 5-2 in Monday's non-league bout.

The Mavericks now possess a 8-2 record. They take the field next when they host John Marshall for a Colonial bout on Tuesday, April 18. Freeman will face a Justices team coming off a 11-1 league loss to Maggie Walker (Richmond, VA). The Justices record now stands at 6-3.

Next, the Hawks face the Mechanicsville Mustangs (Mechanicsville, VA) in a Capital bout, on Friday, April 21. Hanover will attempt to move on its 6-4 season record. The Mustangs enter the bout with a 9-3 record after their 15-3 non-league win over Hermitage (Richmond, VA).
