West Virginia High School Baseball - Lewis County gets by Philip Barbour

April 17, 2023: Weston, WV 26452

Lewis County Minutemen (Weston, WV) fans exited the stadium thrilled Monday as they observed their baseball squad overcome the visiting Philip Barbour Colts (Philippi, WV), 12-9 in a league test.

With the win, Lewis County upgrades its record to 6-7 on the season. The Minutemen host Linsly (Wheeling, WV) to battle the Cadets in a non-league test on Thursday, April 20. The Cadets come into the test with a record of 14-3. Linsly won 3-1 in their recent non-league test against Dover (Dover, OH)

With the defeat, Philip Barbour falls to 10-9 on the season. The Colts host Tucker County (Hambleton, WV) to battle the Mountain Lions in a non-league test on Tuesday, April 18. The Mountain Lions come into the test with a record of 2-6. Tucker County lost 11-6 in their recent non-league test against Southern (Oakland, MD)
