The Metter Tigers crushed the host Savannah Country Day Hornets baseball team by a count of 11-1 in Monday's non-league bout.
The Tigers now possess a 20-5 record. They take the field next when they host Wheeler County for a non-league bout on Thursday, April 20.
Next, the Hornets face the Beach Bulldogs (Savannah, GA) in a 3A Area 3 bout, on Tuesday, April 18. Savannah Country Day will attempt to move on its 11-16 season record. The Bulldogs enter the bout with a 0-10 record after their 15-0 league loss to Liberty County (Hinesville, GA).
