The Burnt Hills-Ballston Lake Spartans lacrosse team scored 18 points and held the visiting Averill Park Warriors to 5 in the Spartans league win on Monday.
The Spartans (2-0) will now prepare for their game against Liverpool (Liverpool, NY). The Warriors go into the non-league game with a 0-1 record.
The Warriors (1-3) will now prepare for their game against Shenendehowa (Clifton Park, NY). The Plainsmen go into the Section 2 Suburban - Blue game with a 4-2 record. In their last game, Shenendehowa prevailed over Colonie Central (Albany, NY), 11-8, in a league game.
