In Monday's non-league battle, the visiting Annandale Atoms soccer squad scored a close 1-0 win over the Herndon Hornets.
The Atoms (5-2) will now prepare for their battle against Falls Church (Falls Church, VA). The Jaguars go into the National battle with a 0-6 record. In their last battle, Falls Church was nudged by Hayfield (Alexandria, VA), 5-1, in a league battle.
The Hornets (2-4) will now prepare for their battle against Fairfax (Fairfax, VA). The Lions go into the non-league battle with a 6-0 record. In their last battle, Fairfax nipped Edison (Alexandria, VA), 4-1, in a non-league battle.
