Virginia High School Lacrosse - Albemarle drops to Salem

Salem Spartans (Salem, VA) boosters exited the stadium content Monday as they witnessed their lacrosse squad top the visiting Albemarle Patriots (Charlottesville, VA), 13-3 in a non-league battle.
The Spartans now own a 5-3 record. They take the field next when they host Blacksburg for a River Ridge battle on Monday, April 24. Salem will clash with a Bruins squad coming off a 22-1 non-league loss to Glass (Lynchburg, VA). The Bruins record now stands at 1-7.
In their next game, the Patriots clash with the Patrick Henry Patriots (Roanoke, VA) in a non-league battle, on Wednesday, April 19. Albemarle will attempt to advance on its 1-5 season record. The Patriots come into the battle with a 3-0 record after their 20-1 non-league win over Franklin County (Rocky Mount, VA).
